As our Global Patient Advocacy Lead (m/f/d) you will shape and advance our global patient advocacy approach, ensuring that patient perspectives are meaningfully reflected in external engagement, disease awareness and corporate communications.

Working within Global Communications & Strategic Affairs, you will build trusted relationships with patient organizations and partner with affiliates to develop impactful and compliant advocacy collaborations, with a particular focus on Europe, strengthening the company’s position as a trusted partner to patient communities.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Global Advocacy Strategy: Develop and evolve a global patient advocacy strategy aligned with therapeutic priorities and corporate objectives
  • Patient Voice & Narrative: Strengthen the integration of patient perspectives into the corporate narrative and external communications
  • Advocacy Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with international and European patient advocacy organizations, including umbrella bodies and national groups
  • External Representation: Represent the company in relevant advocacy forums and stakeholder discussions
  • Regional Support & Coordination: Partner with affiliates to establish effective and compliant advocacy collaborations across markets
  • Best Practice Sharing: Connect regional initiatives and facilitate exchange of best practices across affiliates
  • Program Development & Execution: Contribute to advocacy initiatives, disease awareness campaigns and patient-centered partnerships in collaboration with Medical Affairs and regional teams
  • Internal Alignment & Insights: Act as a key interface across functions, bringing patient insights into the organization and supporting internal awareness

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in communications, public affairs, life sciences or a related field
  • Solid experience in patient advocacy, corporate affairs or stakeholder engagement within the healthcare or pharmaceutical environment
  • Proven experience working with patient organizations and understanding of the advocacy landscape
  • Ability to operate in international, cross-functional environments and manage complex stakeholder landscapes
  • Ability to translate patient insights into meaningful initiatives and communication approaches
  • Experience in rare diseases is a plus
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
