YOUR CONTRIBUTION

To provide medical information (MI), pharmacovigilance (PV) and quality management systems (QMS) services for Merz Therapeutics UK & Ireland.  This is to ensure the NHS, customers and patients’ needs are met alongside establishing Merz as a trusted partner of choice.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the management of day-to-day enquires regarding medical information, adverse event reporting, and complaints.
  • Support the Medical Affairs team in providing an affiliate level pharmacovigilance service in accordance with local SOPs
  • Support the development and execution of the Tx Medical strategy, resources, and activities
  • Support in governance and compliance to ensure Merz TX practice with high standards within all areas of the business

YOUR PROFILE

Mandatory:

  • Life sciences degree 
  • 1-2 years experience in medical information 
  • Analytical skills with the ability to understand and simplify complex medical messages
  • Ability to communicate scientific information clearly and accurately (spoken and written)
  • Ability to critically appraise medical literature accurately

Desirable:

  • Pharmacy Degree 
  • Some knowledge and understanding of Pharmacovigilance processes
  • Reviewer of medical and marketing materials
  • Experience in handling electronic Quality Management System
