We are looking for our new Finance Head, located in our Milano (Italy), office, reporting to the Country Manager Merz Therapeutics and being part of the Executive Committee in our Italian Merz Therapeutics affiliate.
The Finance Manager (m/f/d) will be in charge of Financial Planning and Analysis for Merz Therapeutics and will manage the planning and forecasting process. The position will serve as the financial business partner and contributor to strategic initiatives and will provide expert financial analytics, guidance and strategic support for the Country Manager. The jobholder is accountable to be fully knowledgeable of the full P&L and Cashflow. This role will also be responsible for the management of the monthly accrual process, reporting and analysis of business results, variance reporting, quarterly forecasts and annual budget.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

You prepare financial reports, including monthly sales reports to support the sales department.

You contribute to the preparation of budgets and (consolidated) annual accounts.

You are responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable.

You are Key User of the ERP Software (SAP) from a finance perspective.

From your experience, you contribute to the further professionalization and optimization of all financial processes and to the development of business analysis tools (such as Power BI)

You monitor the correct implementation of relevant laws and regulations and proactively make improvement proposals to the Country Manager.

Together with external partners, you manage the payroll, the vehicle fleet and all company and employee insurances.
