We are currently seeking a talented individual to join us as a (Junior) Global Communications Manager (m/f/d) on an 18-month maternity leave cover.

As a key member of our Global Communication team within the department of Global Asset & Commercial Strategy, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our therapeutics business through engaging corporate communications, with a special focus on internal communication initiatives.

 

YOUR ROLE

  • Manage and enhance existing corporate communication channels, including our global intranet and enterprise collaboration platforms.

  • Be responsible for our sustainability communications to internal and external stakeholders

  • Support and advise our leadership team on internal and change communications issues

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to craft compelling stories that bring our growth strategy to life

  • Design and deliver captivating communications to amplify our brand experience both internally and externally.

  • Work closely with teams across departments and regions, particularly with our North American counterparts.

  • Independently coordinate with agencies and represent Merz Therapeutics in various capacities.

  • Provide communications support for stakeholder initiatives and ad hoc requests, including presentations, speech scripts, and copywriting.

  • Support a diverse range of communications projects, including online and offline event management.

  • Take on day-to-day responsibilities within the Global Asset & Commercial Strategy Team.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields

  • Previous experience in digital and/or corporate communication

  • Fluency in business English, preferably at a native level

  • German language skills appreciated, though not required

  • Proficiency with Office 365 and a knack for quickly adapting to new digital tools

  • Exceptional writing, proofreading, and communication skills

  • Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in high-pressure environments

  • Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a positive team player attitude
